Maybelline The Falsies Mascara waterproof Review

 

For so many years I have been searching for the perfect mascara and I think I have found it!!

For me this is my holy grail for many reasons!!! 

why?

• it holds my curled lashes for 24+ hours
• waterproof from tears
• holds my curled lashes even in windy, rain, humidity, snow and hot sun
• light to carry
• fits in my make up bag well
• the mascara wand is bendable so that means I can have a more precise angled brush
• great price for a high street brand - £7.99 usually in drug stores and supermarkets unless there is a deal going.
• 9ml of product lasts me for about a month and half - I use it every single day!

There is always good deals with Maybelline make up in drug stores, such as 3 for 2 or buy 1 get 1 half price. I always stock up on this when it's 3 for 2 for more of a bargain because I know I will use this over and over again.

The one I buy is the black waterproof one.
For this particular mascara it comes in non waterproof also.

The spoon shaped wand helps the actual mascara to be applied right to the bottom of the top lash following the curvatures of the eyes. This really helps to get to each and every single hair from the lash line and that is really important when you want really defined eye lashes.

You can also bend the wand where there is the mark on the brush so it is easy to apply at an angle if you aren't good at applying mascara.

It is well spaced out and the mascara lotion itself is wet and not dry, which means it glides into the lashes without clumps.



This helps the mascara to apply onto my lashes easily and not needing lots and lots of coats of the mascara - which ends up being clumpy. You want natural and long simple lashes, not volumised or clump

What I do is I first make sure my eyes are free from grease from my eye lids, I curl my lashes for 10 seconds at a time (totally up to you , some people it can be longer or shorter)
.

I then dip my mascara wand into the bottle, then apply it to my top lashes sparingly resulting in a natural look.

 This is the result!

I don't like to use this mascara for my bottom lashes as it is too thick for my bottom lashes so I use a different instead.

The photo's don't do justice! They are my real lashes and they stay like this for more than 24 hours. I have tried it many times!


Pro's:

• for just £7.99 high street bargain for a mascara that really works for me
• lasts me atleast a month and half and daily useage
• light and girly packaging
• waterproof lotion protects my lashes through tears, oily lids, wind and heavy rain
• lasts on my lashes for over 24-36 hours 

Con's:

•  the length of the wand doesn't fit my whole eye
• the wand/brush head is abit too big for me to use on my bottom lashes, therefore smudging the product onto the skin
