Prettiest cookies EVER

Yes - these are real cookies! They are the most prettiest cookies I have EVER seen! All thanks to Madame Shinco, she has a love for animal prints which I absolutely adore!  I wanted to see the cakes with my own eyes immediately but unfortunatly I had to wait 2 years ......
Anyways!!

I first read about Madame Shinco from a Japanese food magazine a couple of years ago and I told myself that whenever I go to Japan I would have to find this store. I recently visited Japan for the first time and it was such an experience! Everything was so hyped up, the food was amazing, the people are so respectful & polite, the whole trip was just amazing!
I knew I had to find this store and make a purchase , I couldn't decide what to purchase but these cookies were definately a 'must' for me because I love leopard print so much!

They actually taste really fresh, the cookie itself tastes crisps with a gorgeous print, the cream filling was nice and thin. I love the box as well as the cookie! It's been such an experience trying out these amazing cookies!

I wish there was another store outside of Japan but it's catered in Japan as the maintain it to its high standards for their customers! Just means there's another excuse to go back to Japan! Ha!

Real life testimonial about Pharmanex Lifepak

I just want to share some crucial information to you guys about my experience with Pharmanex Lifepak supplements in the last year or so and more-so, recently.

Lifepak is a money-back-guarantee product from Pharmanex, together with Nu Skin, the company looks after you from inside out. How it works is, you can check your carotenoid levels via the S2 or S3 scanner and within 90 seconds you will know for yourself how 'healthy' you are. This clever piece of technology uses raman spectroscopy to detect the amount of anti-oxidant cells that are actively working in your entire body for the last 5 weeks of your life, I see it as a lie detector and that is really important to me because I try eat healthy foods and drinks and also trying to do some sort of exercise to stay 'healthy' but little did I know, my body wasn't absorbing all the vitamins and minerals, essentially it is a waste of money.
To me, it makes sense to know what is going on inside of my body because although I cannot physically see what is going on inside, I can see the results on my skin and how I feel.

From how disgusted I was on my initial score, I decided to take the 90 day challenge, after taking Lifepak I could feel and see the results and people around me was complimenting me asking me what I had been doing differently. I knew it would be the Lifepak because I realised my skin was different.

I recently did a test, where I deliberately did not take my Lifepak supplements and I was back to eating crisps again. We all have a guilty pleasure, mine is definitely crisps!! I managed to stop eating them for 11 and half months, but then recently I went back to eating a packet a day, sometimes up to 4 packets.

Here are some results of my scan:

 on 17 07 14 - score was 48,000

on 16 09 14 - score was 43,000

on 28 09 14 - score was 53,000

2 weeks of inflammed healing eczema which I haven't had for over a year!
Between 17 July to 16 September I deliberately not take my Lifepak supplements for atleast 2 weeks, plus I went back to eating out and eating 'unhealthy' foods most of the time crisps and I saw the effects on my mood, sleeping patterns and break outs on my skin. Hence why the drop in my score, I felt like I was suffering because also my eczema had started and that was always a severe problem I had when I was a kid, for someone else to notice it when it didn't actually bother me had made me become aware of my own skin. I was very ready to go back to boosting my immune system because winter is coming up and I usually am poorly through the entire winter suffering from common flu.

Between 19 Sept to today, I have been taking my Lifepak and my JVi juice to help change my immune system, and the score today is 53,000. I can truly say I have never seen my score this high before and I can see my skin clearing up even though I have been eating bad foods until yesterday! This truly is a real life changing proof and although I still have my break out of spots on my chin and cheeks, they aren't red raw or painful.

If you are interested to see how 'healthy' you are with a small charge -  email me for details and I can advise on where your nearest scanner is!

Avon Ultra Colour Lipsticks Review

I recently made a purchase on these 4 lipsticks from Avon. It's funny how I never was into lipstick until about 2 years ago and now I love wearing bright colours on my lips! I think it really does make the entire outfit look more outstanding, especially when it caters to the weather!

Summer time, I enjoy wearing corals, pink undertone shades - they match my bright coloured outfits.
Autumn - winter time I enjoy wearing darker purple undertone lipsticks.
Bright red is an all year round favourite for me definatly!

Recent launch from Avon - I purchased the 4 lipsticks from the Ultra Colour line as I have heard reviews that is was a good as MAC lipsticks which are at the moment, my favourite collection of lip wears due o their long lasting, true colour pigments.

So... what are my thoughts?

The consistency is creamy and thin on application, the pigments are high standard giving that true bold colour when applied. I love that it only takes 2 applications for a true 6+ hour last after eating 2 meals in between. The colour truely lasts and stays strong without using any lipliners underneath.
I like the simple packaging, black with silver. It's suitable for any bag for any occasion.

Each lipstick has Avon engraved on the outside packaging as well a the actual lipstick.

The lipsticks contain Shea Butter, Omega Oil, Arctic Berry, and Vitamin E to nourish and helps moisturise lips instantly.

2 streaks of swatch from each colour

Shades I purchased :-

  •  Fearless Fuchsia - bright pick with purple undertone
  • Magenta Flash - deep pink with warm red berry undertone
  • Power Plum - deep purple with brown undertone
  • Pink Punch - creamy coral-like colour with orange undertone

Pro's:

  • clear window at the top of the lid shows each colour lipsticks making it easier to decide on each true colour
  • professional packaging
  • hardware material
  • affordable price
  • long lasting true bold colours
  • 10 shades available
  • comparable to MAC for bright results

Con's:

  • can become too thick on the lips after 3 layers
  • does not colour oily lips, for instance, using vaseline as a base
  •  not enough colours especially for those who enjoy using orange-bright type colours
  • does not contain any SPF

The retail price usually £7.50 each, which is a reasonable price compared to high street. For a lipstick that does the job showing its true results, gives it a much longer lasting investment long term.
Avon occasionally have offers so it depends on when you purchase.

Smashbox lip plumper review

I think fuller lips look so much better as it makes me look more feminine - personal opinion that is! Obviously depending on the whole out look .

I recently travelled and picked this lip plumper by smashbox at the duty free store! For less than £15 I was instantly drawn to see how it would work! (RRP £18)

There is 10ml of the product in a tube form, I use this only a few times a day with or without lipstick.

This contains berry-c complex, ginger mint, ginkgo biloba, pomegranate seed antioxidants, revitalising marine botanicals and nourishing avocado oil for colour and shine!
There is a clever technology in this product as it also has a slight pink in colour when applied to the lips but it comes out clear from the tube - it adjusts to your skin tone but I just think it is the same colour for everyone. I guess it's a nice glossy lip product for a quick look as the colour is adjusted in a few seconds only.

Pro's:

* lip plumping effect
* small size perfect for travelling

Con's:

* consistency is too sticky
* shade maybe too pink for some
* very shiny and maybe too shiny for some
* tingling sensation may irritate those who have sensitive skin

I personally think it's a fun product and definatly my ready-to-go product but I wouldn't buy it again because I don't think it benefits me as much as I think.

There are also other ways to make lips plump without Botox so I will try them.

Microdermabrasion without pain is possible! How??!!

Microdermabrasion is becoming popular in salons because it shows results, depending on your skin type of course. I have had the opportunity to try it and it was an experience but not so much my favourite as it was painful - I wished I didn't have such sensitive skin! However, there is an alternative!

Nu skin has a range which can help the skin to looking younger by tackling problematic areas as well as helping the skin to becoming even and reducing dark spots which is damaged by the sun harmful rays! Even when I apply SPF on a daily basis, I do enjoy being in the sun for long periods and then I develop the dark spots which may turn into cancer cells.

The equivalent to microdermabrasion is the polishing peel to use in the comfort of your own home,  The aim is for you to feel at ease and pay only a fraction of the price compared to being in salons or buying expensive tools!

The polishing peel is super easy to use and as you can see, my skin glows afterwards - this is within the hour! When I wake up, my skin is glowing with confidence ans when I apply my make up, it's so much smoother!

  • INGREDIENTS
Water (Aqua), Bentonite, Zea mays (Corn) Starch, Glycerin, Sorbitol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Cucurbita pepo (Pumpkin) Extract,* Polygonum cuspidatum Root Extract, Hamamelis virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Caprylyl Glycol, Polysorbate 80, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Hexylene Glycol, Ammonium Laureth Sulfate, C20-40 Pareth-10,1,2-Hexanediol, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance (Parfum), Chlorphenesin, Ammonium Silver Zinc Aluminum Silicate, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).
    *Pumpkin enzymes

For less than £30, the tube contains 50ml of product which you can easily get 10+ Uses out of which is a fraction of what you would pay for a treatment at a salon. Clinically proven to be equivalent to a professional microdermabrasion session, Polishing Peel features Pumpkin Enzymes to resurface, soften and polish the skin and Bentonite Clay to remove dull skin cells and toxins.

Pro's:

• easy to use
• time lasts for long time
• results shown straight away
• suitable for sensitive skin
• glowing skin afterwards
• skin is smoother afterwards
• wake up to renewed skin making make up more easier to apply
• easy to travel with (even on a flight)
• clinically proven results
• use in the comfort of your own home
• takes no more than 3 minutes to use

Don't forget to apply your favourite night cream afterwards for maximum results!

Frozen Yoghurt at Meecha

Huge trend in America,  Asia, and now in England - it is like an alternative to a meal or as a snack, depending on my mood but usually I have it as a treat.

When I travel, I always find my nearest frozen yoghurt kiosk and luckily I have one near-by which have endless options in their toppings and sauce for a set price!

I am never disappointed in the freshness of their fruits and their chocolate brownies are always soft and chewy, perfect infusion as a treat!

Meecha is famous for their bubble tea drinks as well as their frozen yoghurt's, there aren't many places in Birmingham or England for that matter so it is dissapointing to not find one when I visit a different city or country.  Luckily for me, I have frozen yoghurt kiosk nearby called Meecha (use to be called Moocha if you are confused about the names).

Meecha offer a choice of 4 different sizes starting with mini, small, medium and large. I usually go for a small as it is very satisfying with the toppings for just an extra 80p, unless if you have a large and you want toppings then it's £1 extra.

There are 2 choices of flavours for their frozen yoghurt's, original or vanilla (very similar to ice cream as it's sweeter). I usually go for the original as I like to mix up my toppings and one reason out of many reasons why I *love* Meecha's frozen yoghurt's is simply because their original flavoured frozen yoghurt isn't sour. When someone mentions frozen yoghurt, we automatically assumed its going to taste like frozen probiotic yoghurt which is oh-so-sour, but no, it isn't. You will be suprised how yummy it tastes! The texture is very important for me and it strikes the right balance between icy and creamy.

If you are a fan of sweet deserts or love fruit with ice cream then I would highly recommend a frozen yoghurt as they are satisfying and a real treat on a sunny day.

There is a choose-your-own-toppings service and the staff are very approachable when it comes to recommendations which is very helpful as there are sooooooo many choices.

Prices start from £2 without toppings
mini - large size tubs

Choice of toppings is endless, I love their variety because as a treat, I would have the chocolate brownies and/or chocolate buttons as well as the blueberries and/or strawberries ( you got to weigh the good with the bad hey! ) but depending on my mood I may add the popping pearls. The flavours for the popping pearls are unique because they have lychee, mango, passion fruit and more. I usually go for passion fruit to go with my blueberries.

The popping pearls can be quite weird at first because no one really knows what to expect but they are addictive as they're fun to eat and fruity - if you like fruit syrup then highly recommend this! You can have as much flavours as you like for the same price which is fantastic!

various sauce for the topping - I opted for butterscott today!

Meecha offer a loyalty card for any of their products, which means everytime you visit, you present your loyalty card and they stamp to indicate your visit, after 9 purchases, your 10th is free. Not only this is a great offer but if you work in the Bullring or have a valid NUS card, you get 10% off - Meecha are generous and love customers going back for more than 1 visit.

my final product - yummeh!!! I definitely did enjoy this out in the sun!

If you're visiting Birmingham then this is a place I would recommend to try as Meecha is only available in Bullring Birmingham at the moment. Suitable for all ages, male and female. Did I also mention to you that the toppings are gluten free and also vegetarian friendly?

Check out Meecha Website for more information.

Enjoy!!
