Maybelline The Falsies Mascara waterproof Review

 

For so many years I have been searching for the perfect mascara and I think I have found it!!

For me this is my holy grail for many reasons!!! 

why?

• it holds my curled lashes for 24+ hours
• waterproof from tears
• holds my curled lashes even in windy, rain, humidity, snow and hot sun
• light to carry
• fits in my make up bag well
• the mascara wand is bendable so that means I can have a more precise angled brush
• great price for a high street brand - £7.99 usually in drug stores and supermarkets unless there is a deal going.
• 9ml of product lasts me for about a month and half - I use it every single day!

There is always good deals with Maybelline make up in drug stores, such as 3 for 2 or buy 1 get 1 half price. I always stock up on this when it's 3 for 2 for more of a bargain because I know I will use this over and over again.

The one I buy is the black waterproof one.
For this particular mascara it comes in non waterproof also.

The spoon shaped wand helps the actual mascara to be applied right to the bottom of the top lash following the curvatures of the eyes. This really helps to get to each and every single hair from the lash line and that is really important when you want really defined eye lashes.

You can also bend the wand where there is the mark on the brush so it is easy to apply at an angle if you aren't good at applying mascara.

It is well spaced out and the mascara lotion itself is wet and not dry, which means it glides into the lashes without clumps.



This helps the mascara to apply onto my lashes easily and not needing lots and lots of coats of the mascara - which ends up being clumpy. You want natural and long simple lashes, not volumised or clump

What I do is I first make sure my eyes are free from grease from my eye lids, I curl my lashes for 10 seconds at a time (totally up to you , some people it can be longer or shorter)
.

I then dip my mascara wand into the bottle, then apply it to my top lashes sparingly resulting in a natural look.

 This is the result!

I don't like to use this mascara for my bottom lashes as it is too thick for my bottom lashes so I use a different instead.

The photo's don't do justice! They are my real lashes and they stay like this for more than 24 hours. I have tried it many times!

• for just £7.99 high street bargain for a mascara that really works for me
• lasts me atleast a month and half and daily useage
• light and girly packaging
• waterproof lotion protects my lashes through tears, oily lids, wind and heavy rain
• lasts on my lashes for over 24-36 hours 

Con's:

•  the length of the wand doesn't fit my whole eye
• the wand/brush head is abit too big for me to use on my bottom lashes, therefore smudging the product onto the skin

Dairy Face Masks

Using milk based face masks has alot of benefits for the skin such as keeping the skin moist, young looking, reduce the appearance of fine lines an wrinkles, blemish free complexion, making the face baby-soft and whiten the skin.

The ancient Egyptian Queen Cleopatra believed that milk cleansers, whitens and also softens the skin. She frequently had milk baths to soak in the goodness - what a good idea!! lolz!

 I enjoy using face masks atleast once a week, and whenever my face looks like there is uneven tone or redness, I use my whitening products such as milk based face masks. It's natural and doesn't harm my face.
When people mention whitening products, they seem to think they will wake up looking like a geisha but they don't realise products take time to work, hence why they avoid buying whitening products that could actually benefit the skin.

I have redness and old scars on my face from when I use to suffer from acne and I have rosacea from time to time so the milky masks help calm it down. It also lightens my dark spots and helping the appearance of my face to look brighter.

I have tried various brands, so far I haven't actually got a favourite dairy mask to name. I buy my dairy face masks from Asia , I haven't seen any in England, however, whitening products are a huge hit in Asia.

Nivea - My Sillhouette Gel Cream Review

I enjoy using products that may be able to help tone my body, especially when am preparing for any holiday or summer time as it makes me feel more confident about my legs,thighs, arms when am in shorts and vest tops.

I never did think there would be products to help the skin to tone or slim down, and my perception of these kind of products always would be to wake up as a very toned person looking like I had been to the gym for a few weeks! but nah, it doesn't work like that unfortunately!

I have repurchased this product about 3-4 times the last few years and I have enjoyed using it.
I love the scent of this, it smells like a mixture of musk and tea and it stays on my skin for a few hours. If you don't like heavy scented products on your clothes or tea, then you won't like this.

It claims:

• to slim and reshape the body
• reduction of 3cm on targeted body parts such as thighs, hips, waist and stomach.
• first measurable slimming results after 4 weeks
• skin is noticeably more toned and elastic.

I exercise regularly and I drink atleast 2 litres of water a day, using this product helped my body to tone up. Not saying it gave me a 6 pack on my tummy but it definitely defined my thighs! I saw the difference within a month of using it and continued to use it as a day and night routine, as it is recommended to be used 1-2 times daily.


The main ingredient of this is the white tea which is the lightest and least processed of all the teas -  made from leaves that are plucked while still young enough to be covered in silvery down, and are steam-dried almost immediately.
White tea is known for it's natural fat reducing effects as it has even more antioxidant than green tea hence why this product is a huge hit for toning the body.
There is also anise extract in this product - which is believed to increase collagen production so say byebye to cellulite!!

The texture is sticky, colour is transparent green gel and cool on the skin. It is quite strong smelling but I love the smell so it didn't bother me. It doesn't stain the clothes but the smell does stay on the clothes.
It is quite moisturising for the skin, but I also use a light moisturiser on top as the consistence is quite sticky when it isn't massaged into the skin properly.
It made my skin feel tighter, smoother and definitely more toned. My thighs are more defined definitely!



The lid is at the bottom of the tube which means the product would sit at the bottom of the tube ready for it to come out from the lid, means you will be getting the majority of the product out of the bottle.
Each bottle has 200mls and it comes in one size only.
Depending on where you shop, prices are more or less the same unless there is a special offer!

• lotion is very sticky and takes a while for it to sink into the skin
