Avon Planet Spa Japanese Sake and Rice Revitalising Face Ampoules

The use of japanese sake and rice can help illuminate the skin and visibly revitalise the skin.

In each box there are 4 x 2ml ampoule's- the ampoule's are made of glass and the lid is plastic.

It is recommended to use half an ampule each time, day and then night once a week.

I like the packaging how it is small, tidy and pink! The way the ampoules are lined up makes it look so tidy and mysterious!

I personally used it when I felt that my skin was feel dehydrated and in need of looking more awake! half an ampule is still too much, I use 1/3 each time and even have enough to spread onto my neck and hands!

The consistency of this product is very watery, therefore a little goes a long way!

I love how illuminating the liquid is. Even in the ampules it still is very illuminating. Quite pretty I think!

How I use it is, after a cleansers and toned fresh face, I tap this product into my face and let it sink into my skin. I enjoy using this in the night before bed rather than day time before my make up preparation because it makes my skin feel so illuminated and I wake up to a fresh face.
I used this box of product over the space of 2 months as I didn't use it very often, once a week was enough.

The scent is quite strong of rice, being asian, I am use to the scent of rice at home so this wasn't any suprise to me really. After it is applied to the skin, the scent wears off so it's not like you smell like you have been cooking rice at home all day long.

I love spa products, I find them to be more of a higher-end item and intrigued to see if they work wonders. For me, this product hydrates my skin and when I wake up, the pores are not as large. It doesn't make my face glow the way I expected it to due to the colour of the product. However, for the price I paid and the amount of usage I got out of it, I think is totally worth it. It is not something I would re-purchase simply because it doesn't do as much as I expected but was totally an experience.

This product is suitable for those with normal/combination skin because its not massively hydrating but it makes the skin feel smooth once it dries on the skin. It doesnt make the skin oily therefore those with oily or acne skin can use.

back to Hong Kong December 2012

I was back in Hong Kong for about 2 weeks in December. I enjoyed every minute of my stay as always, and lucky to have my best friends and family out there who look after me and care for me.

First family meal together, hotpot at home. It's not about the food even though the food is so fresh and yummy. It's more about the fact that , as a family we all sit together, talk eat and enjoy the company. This is something I look forward to the most!

One of my best friends is Ken (AKA The Popheir on youtube)  , we hang out when we are both in Hong Kong. So fortunate to have such good friends and with the distance between us, we still talk on a daily basis!

He took me to try some Filipino breakfast! I was quite surprised by the rice lol!!Beef in sauce .... was yummeh!

I love sushi, japanese food in general!! I think I ate sushi a good 7-8 times during my stay in HK. It's so cheap and fresh in HK compared to England so obviously I had to eat as much as I could! lol. My all time favourite is sashimi, fish roe, soft shell crab.

Dessert in Hong Kong is pretty amazing too, mainly I eat the japanese ones are they are more fancy and more choice. I love sesame and green tea flavoured ice cream.

FROYO!!
japanese ice cream with waffles and deep fried banana pancake with sesame ice cream
shredded green tea ice cream with red bean and mochi balls
I even went to Laduree in Tsim Tsa Tsui! The queue was oh-so-long, queued about 40 minutes but it was well worth it, then tried macaroons from Paul Lafayet. AMAZING!!!

One of the tourist attractions I went to visit was Noah's Ark which was quite enjoyable seeing the tall animal there and the view around the area is amazing, especially seeing sun set . There is a small beach to walk along and the harbour to get the boat back to Hong Kong Island within half hour.

Pink and purple day! I decided to paint my nails, and dress up ! Being in the centre of Hong Kong at Causeway Bay has had people be weary of what I was wearing - this is what I call Street Fashion.
Korean BBQ Dinner with my Best Friends~

New Apple Store opened in Causeway Bay! Of course I had to pose a strike outside!

At Times Square Causeway Bay, there was a Lego Land exhibition. I must admit, I am not a huge fan of lego but it really was worth going. I went about 5 times lol!

Was so sad leaving Hong Kong but atleast I got to eat sushi with 2 of my Best Friends in IFC

Thailand trip in Bangkok November 2012

sawadee ka!!

I was in Thailand Bangkok during the finally weekend of November going into December. Was only a short trip (2 nights, 3 days to be precise) and it was an enjoyable trip!! I had been when I was a young toddler but don't remember much of it, but I wanted to re-visit!
It was hot, 30-33 degrees in the day time, humid the rest of the day, loved it! I can't stand the cold.
Leaving UK was a miracle for me, I was too cold and the hours I worked had made me feel really down! So you can imagine going to the other side of the world in different climates can make such a difference to the person!

I went to look at the fashion, food and sunbathed. The hotel was amazing, had swimming pool at the roof over seeing the view and also an open gym with Jacuzzi and sauna opened till late at night. Never did get the chance to use all the facilities but I did enjoy eating as much as I could!

Getting to these malls was relatively easy, simply by taking the BTS which is Thailand's train service, or you can flag a taxi and haggle the price but still relatively cheap. Some have metre readings so they wont over charge you but always do ask for prices beforehand and make sure they are going your route otherwise you will end up paying more.

They have pink taxi's!! so cute! haha!
Absolutely love macaroons, these ones were so tasty!

Green tea ice cream to cool me down.... it was gone within seconds!! Loved it!
They even have Boots in Thailand lol!
SUPER CUTE!! I wanted all of them!

One of Thailand's street foot dessert, its like sweet pancake with savoury or sweet topping.

This is the mackerel salad roll with a chilli dip, super healthy and delicious!

I went to all the malls in the area, Paragon, Centre World, Emporium, Platinum Fashion Mall,  mainly in 'Siam' area.

People there are so friendly and the night markets were quite cool! Seeing how people haggle and sell was really interesting!

The real thai massages were amazing and mega cheap!! I couldn't resist on not having more than one... hehehe.....
