October 2012 Haul from Zara, Oasis, Peacocks, Matalan, The Body Shop, Forever 21

Now that it is officially winter, I am stocking up on beauty items to keep my skin and body fresh and glowing! I personally do not like the winter or the cold for that matter, but we have to get through it lol.

I haven't seen any jumpers that I like that much to buy but I have aimed for crazy bright/patterned knits just to give the outfits abit of a pop and not stick to black outfits so much.

I have been loving Forever 21's range of neon jumper tops, even though they are thin, they look so nice over a collared shirt and lots of jewellery to jazz up the whole outfit.
Accessories are so important to make the entire outfit more chic and interesting. I love Forever 21's range of accessories and statement pieces. I personally think that Forever 21 offers a wide variety of pieces suitable for any type of look book's and a very affordable price. They don't last forever so expect it to last a short amount of time for the price you pay, however, if you look after it well then they will last abit longer.

I been looking for some plain black wedges boots, I am very fussy about the material of shoes I buy but these ones I bought from ASOS are nice. Soft black leather type material, with a side zipper which I like. They look so neat with plain outfits! They were on sale from £40 to £20 which is a good deal I think!! They are abit high for me, but I will slowly mould into them I guess. I love the grip on them!

My favourite piece from this haul has got to be my black cropped jacket from Zara, I love how chic it looks, makes any outfit look so chic and rock & roll!! for £80 I think it is a very good investment and it is definantly a keeper!!

Enjoy the video guys!
Much Love~

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum Review

Using a night serum is part of my night time routine and has been for the past 2 years. I remember I read somewhere that the skin generates 3 times quicker at night than the day, and while we sleep, our skin renews itself. Skin is the most important organs in the body therefore we must look after it well!
I work night shifts as well as day shifts so it is very important for me to use serums which can help maintain my skins elasticity and help keeping it look/feel youthful. I am very self conscious therefore I make sure my skin is always at its best.

So far this year I have been using the Estee Lauder Advanced  Repair Night serum as well as my routine products.

I first purchased the 30ml bottle to try and then bought the 50ml size as I really enjoyed the results!

I personally trust Estee Lauder brand, I have been using the night serum all year as well as the cream cleanser, Idealist serum, day wear moisturiser with spf 15 and the Advanced Repair night eye cream.
I started using Estee Lauder product last year after reading so much about certain products and I fell in love with the results!

I usually use asian brands such as Shiseido, Sulwhasoo, Aquamoist, Laneige, Missha but I also like french brands such as Clarins, Chanel, Loreal. I do like to experiment with a wide range of products out in the beauty industry as my skin doesn't cater to just one brand. Different products offer different results and I love trying out new things!

The chronolux technology helps reduce the past damage to the skin such as uneven skin tone, dark spots, dry skin. Therefore it helps the skins renewal process speed up by the hyaluronic acid. Not only this, but it also helps to address visible damaging effects before they become permanent such as dark spots, premature signs of ageing. Not saying I never want to age , but I want to look youthful and healthy as possible!

It is difficult to believe if these kind of products work, especially when the price isn't exactly cheap. I do understand why some people would not purchase without the trust of the brand. I love it when the company offers free testers but how much of the sample sizes can you actually use and believe in the product? hmmm...

I use this product mainly in conjunction with other Estee Lauder products, but not always as the weather changes and I use alternative products to give my skin maximum results.
However, I still continue to be satisfied with my skin, even when I use other products with this one!

Now that it is autumn time, and then winter approaching, my skin becomes tighter, red, painful to touch when I wash it/take my make up off, it is very important for me to use a good range of products before bed and let it work into my skin when I sleep!

I like the way this product has the pipette applicator! It means no messing around tipping the bottle upside down and side ways for the product to come out, and introducing bacteria into the bottle.
The applicator can also measure how much product you use, I personally only use a small 1 drop, some people use 3-4 drops depending on how hydrated you want your face to be I guess?

The bottle is made of hard plastic, it is abit heavy therefore not suitable for travelling really.

The consistency of this is water-like, honey-like colour liquid. It dries quick, roughly 30 seconds but depending on how much product you put on your skin.
When I wake up in the morning, my pores are less visible defiantly, and my skin feels hydrated after this is on my face.
The next morning, my skin is more luminous and smooth! I enjoy using it when I have little sleep - all the nutrients really soak up in my skin and it gives me more confidence!

For roughly £44 for 30ml, and £58 for 50ml, the 50ml was worth the price seeing that I enjoyed using the 30ml size.
I see this product as an investment, I use this product to prevent wrinkles and fine lines.

Below is a video of this product review plus demonstration....
Enjoy!

Nutriganics Drops Of Youth - Body Shop Review

I was quite intrigued by this organic serum in the Body Shop. I needed a new serum to try and I quite liked the description of this product.

I tested it in the shop and I liked the consistency of it, and the pump on the lid. I liked the fact that the product would not spill out of the bottle and it can easily be measured from the pipette it has.

For £22.00 it contains 30mls of the serum, glass bottle and plastic top.
The lid has a button which you press to suck up the serum inside the bottle and to release the product, you simply just press the button again. I really liked that idea!

This product promises to help signs of ageing, by feeding the skin with goodness, moisturising it, giving you a smooth finish.

Here is what the lid and the pipette looks like hehe......

As you can see, the pipette is glass also. I was worried in case this snaps and leaves glass particles in the product but I have been so careful with it.

The pipette offers hygienic reassurance which means no tipping the product in and out of the bottle and no need to dip fingers into the bottle. Just simply allow the pipette to absorb the serum and release it in your hands.

I would recommend this for people who are in their early 20s, just because its an anti-ageing product it doesn't mean its more mature skin. It offers more than anti-ageing benefits.

As you can see, the consistency is clear-like gel liquid which is what attracted me to buying the product as it seemed natural and contains no additives. Body Shop promised it is 99% made of natural origin ingredient including plant stem cells.

The plant stem cells can help the skin to replace the damaged cells on the skin service, due to the harmful UVA/UVB rays, this product is well needed for my skin! Not only this, but they are rich in antioxidants and help prepare the skin to heel quicker.

It does contain a slight scent to this product which didn't both me that much, seeing that the ingredients are from natural forms. It feels and smells refreshing!
I think I would be worried if it didn't have a scent to it? It would be less believable that this is a natural formula product.

I use this product at night after I have washed, cleansed and toned my face. Making sure my face is dry, I use about 1 drop of this product on my face. A little goes a long way. The formula feels very sticky for the face, hence why I don't use more than 1 drop.
I stipple this onto my face with my fingers, allowing the circulation to help the product sink in well, I wait for it to dry before I apply my moisturiser/night serum.
It dries in about 30 seconds on the skin, depending on how much you use.

When I wake up, my face feels slightly firmer, and not oily. Not even in my T-zone, my skin is normal/dry , more dryer when its cold like the autumn winter time.

I wouldn't recommend this for pure hydration because it doesn't give me that but I would recommend it for those who have redness in the skin from the cold weather - I suffer with redness in my face and this helps it to calm it.

Sadly the second ingredient is alcohol which is a big let down. I thought this product was 99% natural?! I can instantly feel it on my face as it makes it dry so fast. I don't want to buy this product again purely for that reason as I feel that it would make the face age more quicker?!
